Queen's Park, Chesterfield

Queen's Park, Chesterfield - the home of Derbyshire County Cricket Club's out-ground cricket since our return in 2006 - will host three county fixtures in 2013.

Cricket has been played in Queen's Park for over 100 years, and the first game was played there on the May 5th, 1894. Since then the pavilion has been home to Chesterfield Cricket Club.

A five-day Festival made a triumphant return in 2006, attracting bumper crowds, and the event remains one of the highlights of the summer for cricket followers from the wider Derbyshire area.

Chesterfield will once again host three Derbyshire fixtures at its picturesque ground in 2013:

July 14th (1430) - Derbyshire v Yorkshire - Friends Life t20

July 17th (1100) - Derbyshire v Yorkshire - LV= County Championship

July 21st (1430) - Derbyshire v Durham - Friends Life t20
