Derbyshire Captain Wayne Madsen is the subject of a triple-page interview feature in the March Edition of Derbyshire Life, available now from local newsagents.
Madsen tells the remarkable story of his rise from Lancashire League Club Cricket in 2009 through to his recent appointment as Captain of Derbyshire County Cricket Club; and what persuaded him to choose a career in cricket over international hockey with South Africa.
The 27-year-old also discusses setting up home in the county of Derbyshire, plus his hopes and aspirations for the forthcoming 2012 season.
