Madsen's wait almost over

The wait is nearly over for new skipper Wayne Madsen as he looks ahead to the challenge of leading Derbyshire into the 2012 season.

South African born Madsen has now been with the club for three seasons after moving to England in 2009 and he has been one of the Falcons’ most consistent performers. He now he faces a new challenge as leader of a young but ambitious Derbyshire outfit.
