Derbyshire County Cricket Club (DCCC) is advertising the position of Media and Marketing Executive.

DCCC is one of the UK’s 18 first-class counties. The team was recently promoted as champions to Division 1 of the LV= County Championship.

The Media and Marketing Executive will play an important role in the Club’s ambitious plans for the future by driving engagement and consequently revenue through a variety of sources including Membership, Tickets, Hospitality, Sponsorship, Advertising, Conference & Events and Weddings.

Reporting directly to the Media and Marketing Manager, the successful candidate will be responsible for assisting with all areas of media, new media and marketing within the company.

A skills set in either media or marketing is required, although an understanding of both is desirable, whilst relevant experience and/or qualifications in either the media or marketing sector is essential.

Primary responsibilities are dependent upon the successful applicant’s skills-set in partnership with the Media and Marketing Manager.

Responsibilities of the Media and Marketing Department include

• Ensuring maximum engagement through the official website, Social Media and Email Marketing for all aspects of the Club
• Devising and executing Marketing Campaigns for all areas of the Business including Tickets, Membership, Sponsorship, Advertising and Conference & Events
• Performing a hands-on role in ensuring the best possible match day experience for DCCC supporters at all forms of the game, including meeting in full the England & Wales Cricket Board match-day delivery criteria
• Content production for all publications
• Presentation skills and emceeing will be required.

Salary in the region of £16k; negotiable depending on qualifications, skills-set and experience.
