Derbyshire confirms pre-season schedule

Derbyshire’s pre-season tour of Barbados will be followed by further friendly matches versus Somerset and Nottinghamshire prior to the start of the 2013 campaign.
After opening their Barbados tour programme with a two day fixture versus Northamptonshire starting Wednesday 13th March, Derbyshire will contest the T20 Barbados Cup during the weekend that follows having been paired with Warwickshire Bears in the opening round of fixtures.
The Caribbean action concludes with a two day fixture versus Yorkshire on Tuesday 19th and Wednesday 20th March.
Upon returning from Barbados, pre-season intensifies with a three day contest against Somerset at Taunton from Monday 1st to Wednesday 3rd April.
The squad then returns to Derby for a two day match versus Nottinghamshire at the County Ground; beginning Sunday 7th April at 11am.
