Derbyshire will host Lancashire Lightning tomorrow night at the County Ground (7.10pm start) in their first home Friends Life t20 fixture of the 2013 season - and the match will be sponsored by Britain’s largest chain of bookmakers, Ladbrokes.
The eagerly-anticipated Friends Life t20 game will see Ladbrokes operate temporary betting stations within the ground during the match, offering spectators the opportunity to place bets while the Falcons attempt to secure their third win on the bounce following wins over Yorkshire Vikings and Leicestershire Foxes.
Ladbrokes is a leader in the global betting and gaming market. The company, which has been operating for over 100 years in the UK, Ireland, Belgium and Spain, encompasses 2,700 outlets - while Ladbrokes.com, with nearly 800,000 active clients, offers betting on 13 tailored sites in nine different languages and supporting 17 currencies.
The match represents a golden opportunity for Madsen’s men to build on the fabulous start they have enjoyed since they began their campaign on Friday night. The Lightning, though, will represent stiff opposition, packed with young home-grown talent such as Gareth Cross and Steven Croft, led superbly by the ever green Glen Chapple.
