Ground Regulations 2013

To ensure that everyone has a great day at the County Ground, we ask all visitors follow the Conditions of Entry:

All matches are played in accordance with the rules and regulations of the England and Wales Cricket Board.
All persons must comply with instructions and directions given by Club Officials, Stewards, and Police officers.
All persons entering the ground shall have either paid for admission and have received the appropriate ticket, or be in possession of a valid membership card or other pass issued either by the club or the ECB. Children under the age of 13 must be accompanied by an adult
Play cannot be guaranteed on any day.
In the event of little or no play on any day, conditions on the reverse of the match day ticket will apply.
Spectators do not have the right to choose where they park and windscreens must be covered at all times when sun reflection could interfere with play.
Admission and the right to remain within the ground is strictly on condition that spectators shall not commit any of the following acts:

Failing to comply with directions given by a steward, police officer or Derbyshire County Cricket Club Official.
Encroach onto the playing area during play.
Throwing or discharging missiles of any description.
Causing damage to club property including graffiti, or the defacing of club notices.
Obstructing access ways and emergency exits.
Using indecent or offensive language. Racial Abuse will not be tolerated and result in immediate ejection from the ground and possible further action.
Bringing Pets into the grounds that are not under complete control of the owner.
Bringing barbeques, gas cylinders, missiles or weapons into the ground.
Selling items on the ground without prior permission of the club.
Smoking is not allowed in the stands or club buildings; smoking is permitted in designated areas.

The Police, Stewards, and Club Officials have the right to search individuals and their cars, and may remove from the ground and contravening any of the above.

Spectators may not bring alcohol into the ground for limited overs, Twenty20 and Tourist fixtures. Alcohol is permitted for LV=CC fixtures but is limited to 4 cans of beer/cider or 1 bottle of wine.
The Club reserve the right to close bars at any time and restrict the consumption of alcohol. This is at management’s discretion

10. No alcohol shall be brought back into the ground by persons on re-admittance.

11. Flags and banners provided that – in the opinion of the stadium they are not vulgar, political, racial, discriminatory, sexual in nature or display advertising which may in any way impinge or will be in conflict with the rights of partners/sponsors/suppliers/vendors or the event (in any language) or deemed to be offensive, or impact on the view of other spectators.

12. The reserving of seats for friends not on the ground is not within the spirit of fair play to fellow spectators. All visitors are therefore asked to show consideration for others in not blocking more than one seat for this purpose and the Club reserves the right to remove items ‘reserving’ such seats.

13. The Club reserves the right to refuse admission to any person

14. The Club accepts no responsibility for loss or damage to property or injury to persons whilst on the club’s premises. All vehicles are parked at owner’s risk.

15. “Derbyshire CCC does not discriminate against any individual on account of that individuals sex, race, colour, religion, age, disability, or national or ethnic origin; nor does Derbyshire discriminate on the basis of sexual orientation or gender identity or expression and will take whatever action is necessary to uphold these principles against anyone that acts to undermine them”

Please note that the above conditions are subject to change at any time at the discretion of Derbyshire County Cricket Club and where Health & Safety legislation deems it to be necessary.

Uniform Anti-Courtsider Provision

Under no circumstances may any person at the ground use a mobile telephone or other kind of communication device to communicate or in any way transmit any form of commentary, data or other material in relation to a cricket match taking place at the ground for any kind of improper betting or other corrupt or unlawful purpose.
Any person who is reasonably suspected by Derbyshire County Cricket Club or ECB Officials, of acting in breach of this provision unconditionally accepts and agrees that he/she will cooperate with any enquiries made by DCCC or ECB Officials, including by providing his/her name and address, an explanation for his/her suspicious conduct, and/or agreeing that he/she may be photographed and/or filmed by DCCC or ECB Officials.

The person accepts that any such names, addresses, photographs and films may be shared between each of the ECB, all the other first class county clubs, relevant official cricket authorities and any relevant police and crime prevention authorities, for the purposes of any criminal investigations or proceedings, in connection with any investigation into a potential breach of domestic or international cricket anti-corruption rules and/or to enable the ECB and the other first class clubs to give reciprocal effect to any ban on entry which is subsequently imposed by DCCC. Personal data collected under this provision will be processed in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998.

Any person who is reasonably suspected to be in breach of this provision accepts that he/she may be immediately ejected from the ground (without any financial or other compensation) and prohibited from entering the ground and any other cricket ground under the control of either the ECB or any first class county club for life or such other period of time as DCCC deems appropriate in its sole and absolute discretion.

Food & Drink
The Media Centre Bar & Refreshments and the Tea Bar & Refreshments (Ground Map nos. 7 & 10) will be open to all visitors one and a half-hours before the start of play for twenty20 and one-day Floodlit fixtures, and one hour before the start of play for all other fixtures.

Ice Cream Van at most fixtures (Ground Map no. 3) - there are also additional catering for Twenty 20 and one-day Floodlit fixtures (Ground Map no. 6).

Supporters are reminded that they are not allowed to bring alcohol into the ground for any tourist game at the County Ground.

General Information
Scorecards and the Official Derbyshire Magazine are available for purchase at entrance points. Unless specified, all seating indicated on the Ground Map is unreserved and open to all spectators. Smoking is not permitted in any areas of permanent seating.

In the interests of supporter safety, car parking on the Racecourse End grass bank is not permitted during the 2013 season. Thank you for your cooperation.

The Gateway Centre
Club Shop are on the Ground Floor. Please report to Reception for all enquiries including lost property. A range of clothing, books and other merchandise is available in the Club Shop. Hospitality and Premier Seating guests are hosted in Gateway Centre Function Rooms, overlooking the field of play.

(i) Jackson and Gladwin Suite. Exclusive Members' facility on the first floor, exclusive use for Derbyshire CCC and visiting members.

(ii) Bob Taylor Suite. On the first floor, exclusive use for Bob Taylor Platinum Club Members, Committee Members and VIP's. Facilities include: bar, hot & cold food, balcony seating and TV screen.
