The Cricket Derbyshire Customer Promise has been launched – including a pledge to create inspiring moments and memories for members and other customers.
The six point promise provides a blueprint for how the club engages with its members, supporters, sponsors and event customers at the County Ground or Queen’s Park, Chesterfield.
Lyndsey Tanner, who brings 15 years of customer management experience from Yves Saint Laurent and Weight Watchers, is the newly appointed champion of the Promise having taken on the position of Member & Supporter Services Manager.
She said: “I’m delighted to join a sporting institution with great history and a loyal base of supporters, in particular the Members who come back year-after-year to support the team and live and breathe the sport of cricket.
“Sometimes the cricket results will be good, sometimes they will be disappointing. But it is our ambition that the off-field team ensures the best possible experience for everyone visiting our ground.
“We will also increase our dialogue with Members and supporters as we aim to keep them informed and engaged regarding happenings within the Club.”
The Cricket Derbyshire Customer Promise in full is as follows:
We are proud to be Derbyshire
– We want you to have a great time today
– We will give you a warm and friendly welcome
– We want you to be safe and comfortable
– We want to create inspiring moments and memories
– We take pride in ourselves and our surroundings
– We will go the extra mile to keep you coming back
Chief Executive Simon Storey added: “The Six Point Customer Promise was the result of a mass brainstorm involving all members of the off-field team as well as input from other stakeholders.
“It’s now our passion to ensure its successful implementation and everything we do – both in terms of facilities and procedures – will be geared towards these aims.
“Lyndsey, meanwhile, brings great customer service experience to her role and will be a real asset towards the continued delivery of our promise.”
