Cricket Derbyshire is inviting applications to be one of three official charity partners for 2014.
Selected partners will work closely with the professional club and the Cricket Board throughout the year to support the charity’s fundraising efforts and to increase recognition for its cause.
After a large number of applications in 2013, the Cricket Derbyshire Partnership Group selected Sight Support Derbyshire, Derbyshire Community Foundation and Derbyshire, Leicestershire & Rutland Air Ambulance as official partners.
Cricket Derbyshire's Director of Partnerships, Ryan Duckett said: "We have worked very closely with all three of our charity partners during the last year and we hope to develop similar partnerships in 2014. This is a great opportunity for us to use our profile and network to enhance the incredible charity work that is already being done across the county.
"As well as providing exclusive support for our 3 charity partners in 2013 - in terms of player appearances, hosting events and the promotion of fundraising activities - we have also donated almost £20,000 worth of tickets and merchandise to support good causes across the county."
