Wayne Madsen says the backing of Members and supporters is vital if the Club is to achieve its ambition for sustainable on-field success.
Supporters have until this Friday, 31st January, to qualify for Early Bird Membership Prices with all categories including entry to every home match at less than £3.50 per day.
Further discounts are in place for students, senior citizens and those living more than 20 miles from the County Ground.
With the recent implementation of an Elite Cricket Performance structure – led by the appointment of Graeme Welch - Madsen says it’s an exciting time to join the Club.
He said: “We’re grateful for all the support we get from the local community, Members and supporters and we hope they can get behind us for what sets to be an exciting summer of cricket.
“Their support is crucial as we continue to prepare for the new season and push for success.
“We’ve been talking a lot over the last few weeks about raising the bar and setting the standards extremely high.
“Elite Performance makes sure we cover all the bases in terms of our training and preparation to create the environment for us to succeed this season.
“We’ve had a fantastic first three or four weeks under Graeme.
“There has been a massive buzz around the place. The quality and intensity of our training has really stepped up. It’s been fantastic to see and it bodes well for the rest of pre-season and for the new campaign.
“The 7am starts got us off to a real bang. It set the tone and that’s exactly what Graeme wanted us to do.
“The intensity and energy has continues from there and it’s been fantastic.
“We want to give ourselves the best possible chance of being successful this year and what we are doing now is definitely putting us in the right direction.
“We now hope that everyone outside of the Club will get behind us as we push for success across all three domestic competitions this summer.”
