PREVIEW: Derbyshire continue 50-over campaign away at Northants

#NORvDERAfter Sunday’s washout, Derbyshire travel to Northampton to face the Steelbacks in the Royal London One-Day Cup tomorrow (Monday 10 August); 2pm start.

Graeme Welch's men will be looking to get their 50-over campaign back on track after two washouts and a defeat in their last three games. But, after starting the season with back-to-back wins, the Falcons sit fifth in Group A, a point off a top four place.

Northants’ have won only one of their four games to date and sit eighth in the table. They will be looking to return to winning ways at home, but they are likely to be without all-rounder David Willey as he continues his duty for the England Lions side.

Adam Rossington, who is on a month-long loan from Middlesex, leads the way in terms of runs scored, having hit two half-centuries in Northants' Royal London One-Day Cup campaign.

The Steelbacks can also call upon the explosive talent of South Africa international Richard Levi at the top of the order, along with young wicketkeeper-batsman Ben Duckett.

Mohammad Azharullah leads the bowling attack alongside all-rounder Steven Crook.
