With sunshine and 23 degree temperatures forecast, Queen’s Park is the place to be for an afternoon in the sunshine as Derbyshire Falcons play Yorkshire Carnegie in the Clydesdale Bank 40 competition versus Yorkshire Carnegie with a 1.45pm start today (Sunday).
Chief Executive Simon Storey said: “The community of Chesterfield can be very proud of Queen’s Park. It provides the ideal setting for relaxing and watching cricket and a sunny day will bring out the very best in this picturesque and quintessentially English cricket ground.
“Supporters enjoying the sunshine, ice creams in hand and soaking up the atmosphere as they watch the game unfold is what cricket is all about. It promises to be a great day and – if the forecast is right – we would remind supporters to bring their hats and plenty of sun cream.”
