This week may constitute one of the most important matches in recent history at the County Ground but the cricket action in 2012 will be far from concluded come Friday evening.
The 2012 National Knockout Final, sponsored by Police Credit Union, is one of a number of non First-Class matches to take place at Derby in the coming weeks, taking place at the County Ground on Wednesday, 19th September from 12pm.
There will be added spice with the contest an all Welsh affair after defending Champions Dyfed-Powys beat North Wales by nine wickets, whilst South Wales Gwent were victorious against PSNI by seven wickets in the semi-finals.
This is the first occasion since 1975 that no English Force has been involved at this stage of the Competition and currently shows the strength of cricket amongst the Welsh Forces.
Entry to the Ground is free for anyone wishing to attend.
