Derbyshire's Media Day took place on Thursday at a bitterly cold County Ground, although the players were all smiles as they posed for the cameras with the LV= CC Division Two trophy proudly displayed in front of captain Wayne Madsen.
Sky Sports, Radio Derby, The Derby Telegraph, The Times and numerous representatives from other national and local media outlets were present to interview, film and photograph the 2012 Division Two Champions ahead of the first game of the season against Warwickshire at Edgbaston starting on April 10th.
The players have undergone an intensive pre-season, which included an 11-day tour of Barbados and their preparations conclude with a two-day fixture against Nottinghamshire beginning on Sunday at 11am at the County Ground.
