Derbyshire Falcons bring to an end their Hill Dickinson Chesterfield Festival of Cricket – in Association with Chesterfield Borough Council – with a Friends Life t20 fixture versus Durham Dynamos on Sunday.
Play will commence at 2.30pm and ticket discounts are available by purchasing in advance of the day of the game.
Tickets in advance are priced at £12 adults, £4 juniors and £4 car parking, with further discounts available for groups containing four or more adults. Tickets on the gate are priced at £16 adults, £5 juniors and £5 car parking.
The Falcons are aiming to arrest a slide of three successive defeats in the competition against a Dynamos outfit that last visited Queen’s Park back in 2007.
The Falcons are currently third in the Northern Section table and still very much in with a chance of quarter-final qualification with four games to go.
Paul Collingwood and Graham Onions have returned for Durham following injury and England duty respectively.
Other full internationals for the Dynamos are Phil Mustard, Ben Stokes, Scott Borthwick and Gareth Breese.
Durham enjoyed a Friends Life t20 double over Karl Krikken’s men in 2012 and have already emerged victorious from Yorkshire Bank 40 and LV= County Championship matches between the two sides this season.
Overseas player, former Durham all-rounder Albie Morkel, played in none of those matches and is the Falcons’ man-in-form following his explosive all-round performance of 4 for 25 and 51 off 31 balls versus Yorkshire on Sunday.
