Derbyshire Falcons conclude their 2013 Friends Life t20 North Division campaign against Durham Dynamos on Sunday afternoon at Chester-le-Street, 2.40pm start.
The Falcons - who can still mathematically qualify for the knockout stage - are now relying on several results to go their way if they are to seal a last eight spot.
This follows last night's defeat against Leicestershire, as four wickets from Anthony Ireland guided the Foxes to a 79-run win at the County Ground - leaving Karl Krikken's men in fourth place and 1.75 points behind Durham.
To have any chance of qualifying for the quarter-finals for the first time since 2005, Wayne Madsen's side must first secure victory against the Dynamos on Sunday.
Mark Stoneman’s side, who have won their last three Friends Life t20 matches, are also in the hunt for a place in the last eight after claiming a five-wicket win against Leicestershire in their last outing at the Emirates ICG on Thursday.
The Falcons will have to be wary of England all-rounder Ben Stokes tomorrow, as his brutal 46 off 24 balls rescued Durham from a precarious position to claim a four wicket win when the two sides met at Chesterfield last weekend.
Derbyshire are likely to name an unchanged squad for the fixture, with West Indies international Shivnarine Chanderpaul again expected to feature after recovering from injury.
