Staff Testimonials

“Throughout my 3 years with Derbyshire, I have been fortunate to work closely with members and ticket buyers, and progress to work with our sponsors and other businesses. What I love the most is that Derbyshire promotes such a friendly and welcoming culture, so I have been able to create personable relationships with them all. Derbyshire has made me feel at home and is also respectful of personal circumstances and flexible working. I also love how such a small team of staff makes everything happen at the Club and how everyone still prioritises the experiences of our members, customers and supporters.”

Charlotte  – Business Development Executive

“Derbyshire County Cricket Club really is a great place to work. I have been here since May 2017 and everyone at the Club has made me feel welcome and there is always support when I need it. I have been given the opportunity to learn from senior members of the team and take on more responsibility and I now maintain and prepare the practice facilities for all Derbyshire teams including international sides. No day at Derbyshire is the same and I enjoy working within a collaborative team environment.”

Keighnan – Assistant Grounds Person

The breadth of skills I get to apply in day-to-day scenarios make sure each day is different and rewarding, with the freedom of creativity something that I love about my job.

Even though it is a fairly small off-field team, everyone looks out for each other, heads of department are easily approachable and every individual is willing to help out as the Club strives to be the best it can be every single day.”
