Playing For Success at Derbyshire County Cricket Club
Derbyshire County Cricket Club is both pleased and proud to host the Playing for Success programme.
Playing for Success is an extremely successful study support programme delivered in the Falcons Study Centre situated in the Gateway building at the County Ground.

The project has been running successfully for over 3 years and is one of two centres in the city. Sessions are delivered 'out of school hours' for Key Stage 2 & Key Stage 3 pupils and children attend each week for a seven week period, with the aim of raising attainment in Numeracy, Literacy and ICT.
Jeremy Biddulph, the Centre Manager and the team of enthusiastic, fully qualified teachers devise and deliver the programme and engage students through the imaginative learning activities at the Derbyshire County Club Ground.
Playing for Success is a National scheme with over 150 Centres in major sporting venues across the country and has been proven to improve self confidence, self esteem and learning outcomes for youngsters. The setting is unique and the classroom is a state of the art media suite with a great 'wow' factor. It uses innovative technology to engage students and create a learning environment unlike any other.

Derbyshire County Cricket Club are delighted that Derby City Council, and the Department for Children, Schools and Families have agreed to fund and support the scheme for the foreseeable future and look forward to many more successful years.
